Hi, this was a great recipe. I changed a couple of things. Whole milk instead of condensed. Half a cup of desiccated coconut and I left out the butter. Just lovely. Thanks so much!

I am glad you had a good experience camping! I love camping. I could go every weekend. We haven't been able to around here yet because it hasn't been warm enough yet. I am really itching to get out and let the kids enjoy the outdoors.

I was so late in posting my March 3 in 3o that the linky was already closed! I figured that since nobody had linked in the spot behind yours, that I would step in and encourage you to make your goals a priority this month! My dad's 71st b-day was yesterday so I wrote him a love letter and read it to him over Skype. I think I've gotten to the point where I realize he won't be alive forever and that there were a lot of things I wanted/needed to say to him and never had. It's so important to cherish the ones we love for the time we have them. I know you did just that, Christi, and I pray that any sadness you feel may be replaced with sweet memories of him.

My husband says he's glad to be a guy so he doesn't have to "worry about that sort of thing." Honestly, hair is one of the most fun parts of being a woman! Long, short, highlights, natural. So many options! And for the fortunate ones whose hair grows quickly, that means we can change it up often (which I do.) I used to be an every-3-monther, with a new color or cut that often! Now I'm growing it long and have it dyed back to my natural color (only with a little added warmth, since I'm very ashy and now going grey to boot). But come warmer weather, I'll be going back to my typical blonde highlights. Can't wait!

Hey, at least you're having fun with it and trying different things! Own it and be confident in it, and I'm sure it will look great!

Ha! I thought you were going to say that you know you're wearing your hair up too much when your child asks you where you are going, because it's down :) I am in the need of a change myself. I don't think we're ever completely satisfied with our hair.

My goals are bad. When I make them, my husband just smiles, a smile that says it all. I once made up an amazing menu plan, a rolling one that was useable over a year. I took it with me to the markets and lost the whole thing. Just like that. I hope someone benefitted! :)

Christi, I was glad to see your goals in my reader because they have made me consider making some for myself. Best wishes as you strive to reach these this month.

Re meal planning - over the years I have tried and tried to plan ahead, and sometimes it works, but while your issue is sometimes the weather (that's CRAZY, lol) mine is usually $$. I have finally gotten into a groove that allows me to cook my favorite recipes using what is in my freezer. We'll see how long my groove lasts, lol! ~Lori

Oh my, I'm guilty of this, too. It's so easy to gripe about things that have that "I can't believe they're doing it that way" kind of flair. I'm working on it!

So happy your daughter did so well. I love to see young people use their skills. Knitting and the blanket stitch sound cool.
